Mr. John Drake and his firm including Mr. Darren Drake represented me in several I mean several serious felonious... criminal offenses that occurred over a couple of years. Most of my charges were lessened to misdemeanors, some were dismissed, he got me qualified in some reform programs and he also managed to have me keep my driver's license throughout the whole ordeal. I managed to get my professional license back and I am back at work and very employable. Mrs.Barrier represented me for a custody battle and when I say she did not play games and saw my situation as a priority and not just another case or payment I mean that. Kayla Barrier I would say is the WORST and least professional attorney I have ever came into contact with. She lies under oath. She told the judge my husband wasn’t in court when he was. “Oh, I didn’t see him”. She didn’t even look. She came in... twisting and strutting like she was in a fashion show. She filed paperwork in the wrong case. She never answers the phone or email. She prefers to text. But the best part she didn’t even know how to say my husbands name. She’s been suppose to file a custody modification for over a year it was never done. My husband requested that she withdraw from the correct case. She speaks to the opposing client and not the counsel, she’s HORRIBLE. Save your money.read more

Last year I sought professional legal council for the first time. John Drake decided to represent me at a very fair price, lower than I've heard for similar cases. I thought that might be a red flag at first but happily that was not the case. My... court dates were drawn out and John was dilligent in dealing with the prosecutors and even though the case didn't turn out to be as "open and shut" as we expected, he always was very professional, and in good spirits! In the end he was able to negotiate a fantastic plea deal, and helped save me from what could have been a much rougher sentence.
